This doily is 17 rounds and measures about 10 1/2".

Materials

• size 10 thread in 6 colors, about 100 to 125 yards all together

         Color 1- 5 yds
         Color 2- 25 yds
         Color 3- 20 yds
         Color 4- 5 yds
         Color 5- 20 yds
         Color 6- 25 yds

• 1.75 mm hook

beg shell- ch 3, (2 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in space indicated

shell- (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in space indicated

beg small shell- ch 3, (dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in space indicated

small shell- (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in space indicated

beg double shell- ch 3 (dc, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in space indicated

cluster- keeping last loop of each dc on hook, 2 dc in sp indicated, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook

Instructions

Rnd 1 is worked in a spiral

Rnd 1- with color 1 make a magic ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, do not join

• (2 sc in next sc) 6 times (12 sc)
• (2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) 6 times (18 sc)
• (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc) 6 times (24 sc)
• sl st in next sc, fasten off color 1

Rnd 2- join color 2 in same st as sl st from round 1, ch 6 (counts as first dc, and ch 3), dc in same st, ch 1, *sk next 2 sc, (dc, ch 3, dc) in next sc, ch 1, repeat from * around, sl st in 3rd ch of first dc, fasten off color 2 (there should be 8 ch 3 spaces)

Rnd 3- join color 3 to any ch 3 sp, beg shell in same sp, *sc in next sp, shell in next sp, repeat from * around, sc in last sp, sl st in 3rd ch of first dc, fasten off color 3

Rnd 4- join color 4 to ch 3 sp of any shell, beg small shell in same sp, ch 5, *small shell in next shell, ch 5, repeat from * around, sl st in 3rd ch of first dc
