ReplyDeleteI am cleaning out my inbox and found this linked in one of the Saturday Crochet Shows from Elk Studio. This doily is gorgeous - I especially like the cream to gold to pink on the ends. Pinned.

Hi, I really loved your design and enjoyed every moments while crocheting it. You explained the pattern very well though I had few confusions in some places.I found no problem up to round 13 but from round 14 there were few errors as of my experience. For example, in round 14, the pattern calls for doing "sc around sl st of rnd 14" on line 2, but it should be "sc around sl st of rnd 13". Also in round 15, it is said to "sk next 4 sc, sc in next sc, , ch 3, (dc in next dc, ch 1) 4 times" on line 2 but it should be "sk next 4 sc, sc in next sc, , ch 3, sk next 4 sc, (dc in next dc, ch 1) 4 times". The instruction to sk 4 dc after ch 3 is missing. I believe, round 16 and 17 have problems as well. Would you please consider reviewing the instructions!!
ReplyDeleteI might be wrong but I have documented everything in my blog post which may help you. Here's the link: http://crochetandknitstudio.blogspot.com/2017/04/finish-solar-brilliance-crochet-doily.html
