Charming Heart Motif

Happy new year!  Today I'm sharing the pattern for these little hearts :D  They measure about 2" in diameter.  Materials you'll need are a small amount of size 3 crochet thread and a 3.25 mm hook.

The main stitches used are front post and back post double crochet stitches.  This pattern is worked in rows.  After completing rows 1-4, chain 2 and turn your work over.  At the end of row 5, chain 4 and turn your work over.

For the hearts pictured I used Aunt Lydias size 3 cotton crochet thread in the colors- white, maize, warm rose, lime, warm teal, warm blue, plum, and purple, and natural.

This pattern has 7 rows.  Finished size is about 2" in diameter.  Pattern is written using U.S. Terminology.  A printer friendly version with fewer pictures is available here- https://www.draiguna.com/p/charming-heart-motif-printer-friendly.html.
