    1. I gotta ask cuz that's my absolute favorite site to find patterns why not? Sorry I'm nosy. I just love them.

    2. My guess would be that political stuff that happened a while back. It's a shame because you're right, it's a valuable resource. If only people could have kept the topics to yarn and the only Real argument applicable to such a site: crochet vs knit :D

I don't Ravelry any more because of it - it became too toxic and I wasn't even in any groups and only posted to ask questions, show off completed projects, or post step-by-step instructions for tricky parts of patterns I tried. Basically, I was there for the patterns and it still affected me when someone was on a witch hunt reporting profiles. I still don't know what about my profile was a problem as no one would answer me. I took it as a sign to move on and I haven't looked back.

There are so many resources outside of the Ravelry bubble it's nuts. Especially if you know how to filter out "Pinterest" from searches, lol. I found patterns I never would have had I kept my account and I've become a more advanced crocheter as a result. Without that handy hook size / yarn weight search tool I've had to get crafty with how to make x pattern using y size hook with z weight yarn. I've even made my own patterns out of necessity, something I wouldn't have done had Ravelry been there to entice me to browse for hours, lol.

  5. Made a clock out of it looks and works great thanks for such easy instructions. It took a long time to find something this pretty for free and not a chart.

  7. This doily worked up to be a stunning piece! Mine was tighter and I used a thicker thread, but still, it looks.like a timeless vintage piece. Thank you so much! You are a talented designer!

  8. Hi, I have worked a few of your patterns so far and I LOVE the way that they look. I have a suggestion for the wording of the beg cluster or for round 6. The beg cluster says to go into the stitch indicated. The very beginning of round 6 doesn't indicate which stitch to initially go into. I went into the slip stitch and I think it worked, but some added clarity might help.

I LOVE your patterns though. Thank you so much for providing them. It is a labor of love to write out patterns.

  10. Do we stitch directly into the thread holding the puff stitch or the v stitch that found on top?
